After traveling for about one hour from the central part of Kyoto, our guests can enjoy hot springs embraced by mountains amidst simple and beautiful natural surroundings, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

After climbing elegant stone steps, our visitors will find two types of bath facilities—one surrounded by rocks, and one made from Japanese cypress.
Alternating between men's and women's use in the morning and night, our visitors can enjoy both types of baths. Also popular are our "Gensen Tsubo Buro" (a type of bath using water drectly from the spring source), "Ashiyu (foot bath) Cafe" and a hands-on activity involving the making of raku yaki (hand-molded lead-glazed earthenware).
